MapJack launched its streetview service with focus on tourism, featuring 18,800 pictures covering all of downtown Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The service was rebranded and redesigned as MapJack, and launched with more than one million pictures of San Francisco.
MapJack released its proprietary image stitching technology to feature gorgeous 360 degree seamless panoramas captured by high resolution DSRL cameras. MapJack also took a leap in image projection technology with a new immersive panorama viewer based on Adobe Flash. It took the competition five years to catch up to this image quality and projection performance.
